Away in a Manger

Please join Lynn to reflect on the Reason for the Season.

Away in a manger,
No crib for His bed,
The little Lord Jesus,
Laid down His sweet head.

The stars in the bright sky,
Looked down where He lay,
The little Lord Jesus,
Asleep on the hay.

The cattle are lowing,
The poor Baby wakes,
But little Lord Jesus,
No crying He makes.

I love Thee, Lord Jesus,
Look down from the sky,
And stay by my side,
'Til morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Jesus,
I ask Thee to stay,
Close by me forever,
And love me I pray.

Bless all the dear children,
In Thy tender care,
And take us to heaven,
To live with Thee there.

Merry Christmas
!

  1. Hi La! I love all of the great nativities you shared today! Of course the stained glass one really caught my eye! It's beautiful! I only tried to make one free standing item with glass, a business card holder... let's just say it was "challenging". Thank you so much for joining in:@)

  11. Hi La, I love all of the sweet nativities. I am so upset I have misplaced a whole box of my nativities... a whole box! How on earth does anyone do that?

Thanks for sharing. I can at least enjoy viewing yours.
    Have a good week, Annette
