Need a unique gift for the holidays, birthday or wedding shower? Why not make a fantastic cookbook for the recipient? I know my family is always asking for one recipe or the other of mine or from Mom's collection.
You could personalize the cookbook with recipes based on the tastes of the person you are making it for. Also, you could intersperse pictures of that person throughout the book.
While playing with the My Memories Version 2 Software, I put together this recipe card. It only took me minutes to put it together. The recipe is from Taste of Home (my photo).
I will be linking up to Foodie Friday and Potpourri Friday. Hop on over and say hello to these wonderful ladies.
MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!

ReplyDeletethat is a nice idea. Thank you for sharing.
Best greetings, Johanna
What a great and personal idea for a gift!
ReplyDeleteI was once asked to contribute to a cook book our church was publishing. The committee sent me a card on which to write "My Favorite Thing To Make For Dinner." I filled it out and sent it back, and they published it, with my name, in the cook book. My favorite thing? Reservations!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea!
ReplyDeleteOh and there's a Free Earl campaign being started! Bumper stickers , or computer stickers being printed !:)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a yummy recipe, La! I like the idea of using this software to make a recipe collections book.
ReplyDeleteI agree, that is the best gift. That is what got me into blogging because I made a cookbook for friends and family with digital photos! Now I am a much better photographer so I don't love it as much as I did, but hey, it worked and got me here!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I have made a few cookbooks through Blurb ~ they are going to be christmas gifts!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
