As you’ve likely noticed, I changed my banner a few weeks back. The pictures in my current banner are from St. Patrick’s Day 2010.
I spent last St. Patrick’s Day in Orlando with my Aunt Cheryl, Cousin Chelsea and her husband Steven.
We celebrated at Fiddler’s Green, an Irish pub in Winter Park. That is where these photos were taken. We had to stand in line for quite some time because the pub was packed to the rafters. There was a fireman at the door and only allowing people to enter when others left. It was beautiful out so we didn’t mind. Fiddler’s Green was recently featured on Food Network’s The Best of Florida. You can see the clip here.

The pictures aren’t the greatest (I wasn’t blogging yet), but they conjure up wonderful memories.
Sláinte!
MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!
We used to live in Winter Park in 1969 and it was a beautiful place. I don't know if this restaurant was open then but we probably couldn't have afforded it then anyway. Looks like you all had great fun.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I wonder what is under those kilts? I've heard....they are all natural underneath.
ReplyDeleteI love St. PAtty's Day celebrations, and men in kilts! ; )
ReplyDeleteThe restaurant looks like loads of fun! We have a ton of Irish restaurants and pubs here on the South Side of Chicago, I think St. Paddy's Day is celebrated year round! Love all the great family pictures!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane

Looks like the perfect spot to enjoy St. Pat's Day! I just saw corned beef in the sale flyers, it will be here before we know it:@)
ReplyDeleteLOL, I just cracked up over Lori's comment...el natural. I could go for an Irish pub right about now, nice cold Kileans sounds good. Looks like fun La.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun St Pat's day! Fun seeing the pics, too!
ReplyDeleteI love Winter Park. We go there every time we are in Orlando, in fact we may even live there one of these days. We've never tried this pub, although I've seen it. Now...we will try it!
ReplyDeleteLove the new look!
ReplyDeleteLove your new header.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun place!
