What are your plans for this fine weekend? Will you be shopping, crafting, sledding, or just laying low? Notice I didn't mention mundane tasks such as cleaning, laundry, or shoveling? I know most of us ALWAYS have those items on our lists.
I joined my first swap yesterday. Sharon at Faith Hope & Cherrytea is hosting a teacup swap. As you know, I started my teacup collection this summer when I found some lovlies at auction. This swap will be so much fun and I am very excited about it. I believe Sharon is accepting participants through this weekend. You do not have to be a blogger to participate.
There are several projects in the works this weekend and hopefully there will be a fun announcement in the coming days. Until then, stay warm and safe.
MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!
Have a wonderful pink Saturday doing nothing...I might check into the teacup swap.
ReplyDeleteI love your new Valentine's background. Very pretty. I am planning on catching up on reading some blogs and trying to finish my mad organizing kick i've been on. I'll check out the swap!
ReplyDeleteGood morning! We actually have our first weekend that isn't planned in a long time. We've traveled, had company and helped the in-laws over the past weekends...this one is just for us. I have a movie to watch this afternoon, I will run a couple errands and maybe put on a pot of stew to simmer. I may visit the local thrift store just for fun. I cleaned yesterday so that I didn't have to do it today!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
Your header is gorgeous...love the roses.
Good Saturday morning to you La! Not much happening here this fine Saturday morning, which is just the way I like it! The temps seem to be coming up a bit, from about 5 degree's, and the sun is shining. Hard to believe we are already half way through January!!!
ReplyDeleteI hopefully will be going to an oyster roast this weekend. I don't eat oysters but will be happy to eat the other foods, visit with family and get out of this house! I love your new blog background too! Very cute! Hope you have a great day!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Saturday. I'm working, then I'll be playing. Hugs!

ReplyDeleteHi La-Happy Weekend! The tea cup swap sounds like a lot of fun! Did a little shopping, a little cooking and a (very) little cleaning... time for football:@)
ReplyDeleteAll my plans were canceled when I woke up with a backache. I have flare ups every now and then, so I have mostly been lying down with a heating pad. Definitely Chinese food tonight!
ReplyDeleteThe swap sounds fun, I was in one once and really had a ball.
XO,
Jane
Four hours, just repainted the master bedroom. Trim left to do, but oh how wonderful. Half the stuff is not going back in and moving everything to new places except the bed. Now big corner to fill. Any ideas!!
ReplyDeleteWoke up and went to my daughter's HS swim meet. I enjoy going so it was a treat. Did some cleaning house, grocery shopping and we are all, minus me, watching a movie. The tea cup swap sounds fun. I like your new look too. Joni
ReplyDeleteHi La
ReplyDeleteAs you can see from my blog we were at the coast yesterday, today at home re-installing my printer and scanner as I had a problem with it. Later we are off to visit my daughter, her husband and the bump!! Love all the teacups and the Valentine theme on your blog. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and thank you for the lovely comments you leave on my blog.
