Not much got accomplished at work today. I was so sleepy during my commute home in the dreary cold. While trying to stay awake, I planned my evening. The Plan: throw some potatoes in the oven and while they bake take a quick cat nap.
When I arrived home, Ashlee was squealing there's a bird in the house. You know it's a harsh winter when the wildlife start coming in to stay warm. Thanks to my dad and brother Chuck, the bird is back on the outside looking in.
The cat nap? Maybe next time.
I'm still exhausted and am going to call it an early night, unless another critter finds its way into the house. I promise to catch up with all of you tomorrow.
There's still time to go here and enter my giveaway.
MAKE IT A GREAT DAY...

I thought you were going to say that you fell asleep and slep too long and the potatoes burned! Joni
ReplyDeletehope that you get some sleep. Glad that you got the bird out! We sometimes get them in our basement ( they come in throught the chimney)

Hi La, I do hope you had a restful night's sleep.
ReplyDeleteStay warm my friend.
*hugs*
No bird in the house my lovely friend, just a smelly dog who rolled in the fertiliser they spread on the field!!
ReplyDeleteIt has been like that this week for me too. On Monday this week, I had to drive the teens to high school because, they aren't driving in snow and ice! I let them out of the van and we have one of those power doors.... it gets stuck open and there is no getting it shut. Has piano looking wires sticking out of it. Meanwhile still in route to grade school to drop off kindergartner and the door 1/2 open driving down the road with it going beep..beep...beep...beep. AHHHHH!
ReplyDeleteDealership here in town got it shut and going to get it fixed later this week.
Sherry

ReplyDeleteLa-I'm sorry you had such a bad day, but I can tell you have a good sense of humor about it--and that will take you further than Calgon :) I really hate it when birds get in the house--too much Alfred Hitchcock as a child I suppose. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday! :)
