I drug my backside and Bosco out of bed early this morning so I could get on the road earlier. Bosco was not happy. He grumbled when I picked him up. He and I are not morning people. To placate him, I promised we would sleep in and cuddle in the morning. The sacrifices I make for this little fur-ball.
The silver lining to this cloud??? IT'S FRIDAY! Woo-hoo! Do you have fabulous plans for the weekend? I briefly considered a day trip to Cincinnati to visit Ikea, but now I'm thinking I'll stay closer to home.

Have you met Lauren at The Elephant's Trunk? I've followed her blog for some time now. She recently had a giveaway on her blog and guess what...I won! She offers many different designs of wine corks in her Etsy store, V8 Ambition. I won this one!
I love the detail of the design on this cork.

Popchips are a delicious alternative for potato chip lovers watching their caloric intake. Popchips are popped - never baked or fried. The case includes Original, Salt & Pepper, and Sour Cream & Onion flavors. We opened a bag of each at dinner so we could taste them. Each flavor was delicious, crunchy, and satisfying. The best part? Each individual bag is only 100 calories. For those of you on the new Weight Watchers plan, it calculates to 3 PointsPlus. Not bad for an entire bag of chips. I will definitely pick these up when I want a snack.

My daughter always laughs at how Ohio handles snow (remember we are from the snow capital of US)...she also is amused at how the plows sometimes leave a snowbank down the middle of the road!!....Lucky you, cute cork...and I have never heard of those chips, the salt and pepper are right up my alley!! happy weekend, no plans here, just being lazy!

ReplyDeleteI hate January. Just thought I'd throw that out there. It's too cold, and I'm sick of snow by the time the month comes around. (Do I sound like a grumpy old lady). I keep forgetting about IKEA. I bet I can talk the husband into driving down there one of these weekends. Have a good weekend!

No snow up here, but it was very cold this morning when we went out. No big plans for the weekend - just de-decorating the house and getting used to the quiet now that the grandchildren have gone home.
