Ohio Flags Fly at Half Staff for Arizona Victims

In a show of support for those who were affected by the senseless violence in Tucson, Arizona, the American flag in front of my Central Ohio office building is flying at half staff.

Please visit Judie (Rogue Artists), whose neighborhood Safeway became anything but safe Saturday.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims and their families.

More needs to be done to help people with mental illness.

  8. Deepest sympathy from us in UK. I agree with Pat that more needs to be done for people with mental illness. We had a couple of bad events last year here in the UK, where innocent people died.

Blessing and prayers go to the families of the dead and to the those seriously wounded.

  9. It saddens me what our world is coming too. People who have no regard for others and the pain they cause.

  13. Such a terrible situation. My heart aches for the families, especially the young girl and the tragedy of the day she was born and then to go out with yet another tragedy. So very sad.

  14. What terrible events. Why do people do these horrid things. I was talking to my 80 year old mother about it, she said people have always had guns, but no one ever shot anyone, certainly not mass shootings. I think sadly, it has become a way for people to get attention, no matter how bad it is!
It sure takes away everyones sense of safety and security. Very sad
