Resolution Poll Results

Hello Friends!

The Resolution Poll has closed and we had 31 people participate. Sixteen percent of you voted NOT to make a New Year's Resolution. Of those who said they would, 48% are resolved to lose weight. That's not really very surprising considering the bountiful feasting we do from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day. It has a way of making our clothes shrink, doesn't it.

I'm so excited to see coming in a close second was the desire to learn something new in 2011. Many of you indicated you were going to take some photography lessons, which means we are all in for some fantastic eye candy in the coming year.

Here's how each category ranked:

1) 48% (15) Lose weight/exercise
2) 45% (14) Learn something new
3) 29% (9) Save more money
4) 19% (6) Spend more time with loved ones
5) 12% (4) Other....I wonder what...
6) 9% (3) Post more often
7) 3% (1) Quit smoking/drinking

To the person who will quit smoking and/or drinking, I wish you all the luck in the world. I hope you will keep me apprised privately of your progress. I know this is a difficult task, but it is worth the effort.

What did I resolve to do in 2011?

I LOVE CHRISTMAS COOKIES! So, I am back on Weight Watchers. I also want to save some money in 2011...through thrifty shopping of course. Those are two goals I am always working toward, but I do have two new goals that I am going to work toward achieving in 2011.

To make the best of each day, no matter what.

To learn something, visit somewhere,
or experience something new each month.

MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!

  1. I will be eating only fruits and veggies for lunch. Maybe a hard boiled egg here or there with cheddar cheese chunks. Hope that helps on my weight plans.

  11. Very interesting. I'm glad the losing weight was high on the list...it means we care about ourselves. I'll bet it was for health purposes and not just to look good {although that helps!}. Great poll!
