Alphabe Thursday: Letter O

O is for Orange. According to CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta, our daily diets should consist of seven different colors. I'm pretty good at getting in my daily brown food, chocolate.

I do try to make my foods colorful. After all, pretty food is usually more flavorful. The best place to look for vibrant colors and bold flavors is in the garden: fruits and vegetables.

There were Orange carrots in the homemade
chicken noodle soup I ate for lunch.

Pumpkin Pie is Orange, as is a Pumpkin Pie Martini.

I do believe Orange may be my flavorite food color!

I am submitting this post as my Alphabe-Thursday homework for Miss Jenny. Please join our class for more O posts by clicking on the button above.

  25. I've been on a pink grapefruit kick lately. In the morning they are so cold and lovely when you pick them off the trees.

I've never tried a pumpkin pie martini. I shall have to rectify that problem come fall this year!

Thanks for a happy little orange link this week.

    I always enjoy visiting you.
