La, La, lovely and edible too! They are even good for you. My guy does not agree and sprays them like crazy. Your picture is perfectly lovely giving them due respect!
It always seems that the first flower a child picks to give to someone is a dandelion. How can it be bad---when you see the precious excitement on a child's face when they hand you your special flower that they picked just for you :) Jeanette
Did you know that you can harvest the Dandelion root, dry it,grind it up and make coffee out of it. Never tried this but heard about it on a garden show once. It's probably very medicinal.
I actually love dandelions! That happy yellow color always just takes me back to childhood and picking bouquet that my Mom threw out saying, "Oh, it's just weeds!" It was a good lesson for me. I take any dandelion any child or grandchild wants to give me and place it in a lovely vase!
I think that's a very pretty pic! They are winning the battle this year, I have so many I'm thinking about making wine:@)
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty dandelion photo. I like to see a field of them but not in my yard. Take care.
ReplyDeletelovely picture

I do think they are pretty...even in puff ball form. I don't like it when they take over my yard, but in someone else's yard...love them!
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty.. but I hate when they are on the lawn. : (
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic day.
La, have you received your give away prize from me yet? I'm not too sure how long it will take to get to you x
ReplyDeleteIt seems I am always rooting for the underdog so I too like the dandelion...except around my roses ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that you can pick them up and blow on them and make a wish and their seeds scatter everywhere.
*hugs*

I think most of us as kids thought they were flowers!! At least my mother did when we brought them to her!!
ReplyDeleteXO,
