Although we should be grateful for our blessings throughout the year, November is a month we purposefully reflect on God's blessings.
For each new morning with its light, For rest and shelter of the night For health and food, for love and friends, For everything Thy goodness sends. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Grateful is a lovely word and says so much about the person who expresses their Gratefulness. Love the Emerson poem. Thanks for visiting CollectInTexas Gal today.
Wonderful thoughts. My sister Joni at Red Couch Recipes has challenged everyone to add a little gratitude spot at the end of each post this month. Yours reminds me that my post today was missing that. Oops, better go and edit before she gets after me.
Hello La, I am following your blog from Alphabet thursday. I also try and give thanks and share gratitude daily. This is so important for a happy life. All the best. alex@amoderatelife
Great post and a lovely poem to go with it...we have so many things to be grateful for and we should spend more time be thankful for all our blessings! Thanks for making us stop and think about them!
Perfect post! Wasn't it nice how the letter G fell on the first Thursday of November? This is a great reminder to stop and ponder on all the blessings we've been given. Beautiful picture as well.
THank you so much La for your wishes!!! THat's what I heard about the sellers that have been there forever raising their fees. Not fair! I hope you have a wonderful weekend love!

ReplyDeleteAs the sky darkens earlier and we're cosy by our warm fire, it's good to reflect on all the things for which we are grateful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gracious and lovely stop on our little journey through Alphabe-Thursday's letter "G".
