St. Patrick's Day Tablescape

Irish Stew, Corned Beef and Cabbage, or Fish and Chips.  Whatever is on the St. Patty's Day menu, it deserves a fun, festive, and green tablescape.
Each place-setting starts with a gold charger, a two-tone green plate, and a pot of gold coins.  I have gotten so much use out of the fun pots I bought at auction last year for $5.  They will be ideal for Irish Stew, which is what Jordan has requested for St. Patty's Day dinner.
For the centerpiece, I added silk flowers to a Shamrock wooden basket I bought at Jo Ann.  The vintage sign came from Hobby Lobby for just a few dollars and I added a green taper candle to the vignette.
Remember when I showed you this vendor's booth at the Scott's Antique Market?  I promised I'd show you what I bought.
This Irish linen table-topper is what I purchased at this booth.  Isn't it pretty?
I will be sharing my St. Patrick's Day tablescape with my friends at Tablescape Thursday and Home Sweet Home.  Stop over and see some fabulous tablescapes.

MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!

  1. La,
What a lovely find at Scott's. I don't think you had mentioned it before, so it was nice to see such a pretty treat. I used to set a St. Patrick's Day table when I was first married because my husband was Irish and a Patrick. That was a long time ago ~ your post brings back lovely memories. I think I'll take that pot of gold. Too bad it's not real :)

  7. Hello La,
this is a beautiful St. Patrick's table and I love the little shamrocks on your blog and on the tablecloth. In Germany the shamrock (actually the one with 4 leaves) is a for sign for luck, so I think, a bit luck should happen to you with all these shamrocks.
    Greetings, Johanna

  11. I am so impressed by all of your tablescapes. You said you bought some stuff at auction, you are so brave, I have never been to an auction. They kind of scare me, but one day I hope to give it a try!
